Toronto: Day 3

Today was pretty laid back again. Nothing overly exciting. Kate took me to see the reception hall for the wedding. They signed the contract today so it's a done deal. It's beautiful. Well it will be more beautiful when the snow melts and the trees have leaves.

The hall has a vaulted ceiling with these gold chandaliers. The one wall has floor to ceiling windows and a door leading to a deck which overlooks a HUGE sprawling gorgeous golf course. It will be a really nice place for the wedding.

We returned to the house for dinner and Kate, Stu and I watched the Amazing Race. I HATE Rob and Amber. They are just plain EVIL. After it was over we watched Shakespeare in Love so I could write questions for it. I'm showing it to my Grade nine kids after March break to start off their unit on A Midsummer Night's Dream. The idea is that the movie should give them an idea of what it was like to live in Shakespeare's time. So now that is done and out of the way.

Tomorrow should be fairly uneventful as Kate is working during the day so I will probably just hang out here and do some work. Maybe finish reading a Midsummer Night's Dream.
